Canadore Panthers Honour Military Personnel This Weekend

(NORTH BAY, ONT.) – This weekend, Canadore Panthers varsity action will take the court on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with a dedicated Canadian Armed Forces appreciation night on Saturday.

Men’s varsity basketball will be facing off against the Algonquin Thunder on Friday at take the court against the La Cite Coyotes on Saturday night. Women’s and men’s varsity volleyball will take on the La Cite Coyotes on Sunday.

Men’s Basketball
Panthers vs. Thunder on Friday, January 13 at 8 p.m.
{Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation Game} Panthers vs. Coyotes on Saturday, January 14 at 6 p.m.

Women’s Volleyball
Panthers vs. Coyotes on Sunday, January 15 at 1 p.m.

Men’s Volleyball
Panthers vs. Coyotes on Sunday, January 15 at 3 p.m.

All games to take place at the Education Centre Gymnasium, 100 College Drive, North Bay, Ont.

Canadore College Panthers will dedicate will dedicate this game to show their appreciation for the CAF will dedicate this game to show their appreciation for the CAFthe Saturday night game to show their appreciation to the Canadian Armed Forces. CAF members will be honoured and recognized in a variety of ways.

Admission to varsity games is free, and complimentary hot dogs compliments of Mike and Lori’s No Frills and popcorn are served to game enthusiasts. There will be free pizza at the basketball game this week too courtesy of Topper’s Pizza.

Patrons are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to games to help stock the shelves of Canadore College’s Emergency Student Food Bank.
